Coach Rian is a College Wrestler with over 100 Varsity wins in his HS career. Rian is also a 4x All American Wrestler and went to Fargo in his Junior year. Rian was on Varsity wrestling for over 7 years (Covid sadly took a season away) and has trained Jiu Jitsu for over 12 years. Rian is a beast when it comes to putting wrestling and Jiu Jitsu together. Coach Rian is currently continuing his wrestling journey with Utica university while he is getting his degree to continue to coach after college. Coach Rian loves coaching our athletes to bring out the best in them.

Coach Matt is a 3x Section 9 Champion, 2x NYS placewinner, 2019 NY Greco-Roman State Champion, and compiled 129 wins throughout his high school career. He competed at Millersville University as a Division II wrestler, earning 2x Division II Scholar All-American honors. As one of the 2024-2025 Team Leaders of Millersville Wrestling, he brings leadership and high-level competition experience in order to, help athletes sharpen their skills.

Brown is a distinguished individual whose life has been defined by exceptional achievements in both athletics and education. A proud 1984 graduate of Morgan State University, Brown's time at the university laid the foundation for a career marked by excellence, leadership, and dedication. During his years at Morgan State, Brown was not only a student but also an outstanding athlete. A key member of the university's wrestling program, he quickly established himself as one of the top competitors in collegiate wrestling. Brown earned two-time NCAA All-American honors, finishing 5th place in 1980 and 8th place in 1981 at the NCAA National Championships. He was also a multiple-time NCAA Eastern Regional Champion, further solidifying his reputation as a powerhouse in the sport. These accolades made Brown one of the most accomplished wrestlers at Morgan State and earned him recognition at the national level. Courtney Strong Ine. Following his athletic success at Morgan State, Brown's talent and determination led him to a distinguished career in the U.S. A PROJECT OF THE KINGSTON VETERANS ASSOCLATION Army, where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1984 through the ROTC program. His commitment to both his military service and his athletic pursuits continued after his graduation, as he continued to compete at the highest level. While serving in the Army, he qualified for the 1988 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in wrestling, representing the U.S. Army Team. Although he did not make the final Olympic roster, his qualification for the trials was a testament to his unwavering dedication and elite-level wrestling ability. Brown's military service did not just end with his athletic accomplishments. He rose through the ranks and ultimately earned the rank of United States Army Major, further proving his leadership and discipline. After completing his military service, Brown shifted his focus to education and coaching, where he would leave another lasting impact. For 15 years, he dedicated himself to teaching and coaching in Kingston, New York. As a high school teacher and head coach for both wrestling and track and field, Brown influenced the lives of countless students and athletes. His coaching helped guide many young wrestlers and track athletes to success, instilling in them the same values of hard work, discipline, and perseverance that had fueled his own career. Throughout his life, Philip R. Brown has demonstrated a rare blend of athletic excellence, military leadership, and educational dedication. His journey, from NCAA All-American wrestler at Morgan State University to an influential coach and educator, exemplifies the power of hard work, passion, and commitment to one's community. Whether competing on the national stage or teaching in the classroom, Brown's legacy continues to inspire future generations of athletes and students to strive for greatness both in and out of the classroom.
